We have essential work taking place this week.
Firstly, between 08:30 am and 3:30pm on both this Wednesday and Thursday (19th and 20th June) we’ll need to close a lane on the north and southbound sides of the bridge.
This is to maintain the electrical cables and systems that help us keep all the equipment on the bridge working, which in turn helps keep you safe. Don’t worry, there’s no danger to the public.
Then, we will be completing our recent scheduled maintenance on some of the bridge’s expansion joints. To facilitate this work there will be a lane closure in place Southbound after the Toll Booths and just South of Hessle Tower. This will be happening from 6pm Friday 21st June to 6pm Sunday 23rd June.
These works are weather dependent and may be cancelled at short notice.
The toll booths and tag lanes will be unaffected and you’ll still be able to cross the Bridge in either direction with or without a HumberTag. Please allow extra time for your journey if travelling during this time, and drive carefully through the roadworks.
Whilst we know that delays on the bridge can be frustrating, we’d ask that you remember our colleagues are here to help and make your trip a pleasant one. So please treat them with respect.
