Have an event to bring to the Humber Bridge? We’re happy to have you! Please ensure that you follow the below process to ensure that we’re able to safely host your event.

Humber Bridge operates an open and transparent events process, which aims to be cost-neutral. Each event will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis taking into consideration the impact on the bridge and its estate.

INITIAL CONTACT

Planning events takes time. Depending on the size and complexity of your event, we require a minimum level of notice. Please see the below table for an idea of what these timescales look like (this list is non-exhaustive). Note: the larger the scale of your event, the more notice you will need to provide.

Once we have received your contact form entry, we will review your request and come back to you as soon as possible.

Please use the contact form for any initial inquiries about your planned event. The team will review the information which you have provided and respond back to you, requesting any additional information required in order to see if your planned event can take place at the Bridge.

Once we have received your contact form entry, we will review your request and come back to you as soon as possible.

Approval of events will first be given as ‘pre-approval‘, which means that your event can go ahead in principle, pending further information and/or action from yourself (which will be specified in our correspondence). Once our requirements have been met, then you will receive ‘full approval‘ for the event to go ahead. Note: your event cannot go ahead until you have received this full approval.

ROAD DECK AND TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT

Please note that the Humber Bridge Board will not allow traffic management for events on its property, and any application for traffic management will be refused. Access to carriageways will not be permitted for any event – there will be no exceptions for this.
