Contract: Full time, Permanent
Location: Hessle, Hull, HU13 0JG
Starting Salary: £25,992 circa
Hours of work: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.

Due to internal movement an exciting opportunity has opened up in our Property & Estates team for the role of Property & Estates Technician. We are looking for a motivated individual with relevant experience in facilities and grounds maintenance, who thrives on taking ownership and pride in their work. It’s also important that you’re a team player that works well with others but is comfortable working on tasks as an individual at times and you’ll feel confident in the supervision of contractors and visitors ensuring Health & Safety and compliance.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the development and review of relevant Risk Assessments, Method Statements and SOPS. They will also be confident in the use of building maintenance systems like CAFM, BMS and DALI and will be IT literate.
The role involves undertaking regular building inspections working from a PPM schedule ensuring that the upkeep of the buildings and estate are maintained, this will include general maintenance and repairs.
A relevant property maintenance related qualification would be highly beneficial but not essential. Relevant experience would be taken into consideration.
For the right individual it could be a great opportunity to work in a varied and dynamic environment. The post holder will ensure the Humber Bridge Health and Safety requirements are implemented to ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
